Good-byes suck.

You all know my great friend Emma Thompson.

She is awesome. She is beautiful. She is my best friend.

I had to move away from her.

BUT, This CHRISTmas I got to see her.

(FYI. Emma and I wearing the same shirt! )

It was an answer to prayer to see her.

We just sat together and talked, and talked, and talked, and talked!

But when we had to separate, the room got all silent and depressing. It almost felt like we were never gonna see each other again.

While I was saying good-bye to my dearest friend, all that was going through my head was the quote by Dr. Seuss.  

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."
