God is So Good!

God has shown me that he is control and all you need to do is trust him! It took me a while to see how I can trust God if I can't see him and tonight I finally trust him, all because of the powerful story of Kate McRae.

Kate McRae is a beautiful girl and I have been following her story for as long as I could remember. If you don't know who this little girl is or what her story is PLEASE, I beg you, click here and read her story!
Every time I think of Kate I think on how my life is compared to hers. How I complain about not having any clothes, how I have a headache, or how I don't want to do my school while Kate over here is suffering from major brain cancer.

Well, if you read Kate's latest post then you know that I am ecstatic and have a huge smile on my face. But not as big as Kate's.

Three words to describe Kate.

You all know my great friend Emma Thompson.

She is awesome. She is beautiful. She is my best friend.

I had to move away from her.

BUT, This CHRISTmas I got to see her.

(FYI. Emma and I wearing the same shirt! )

It was an answer to prayer to see her.

We just sat together and talked, and talked, and talked, and talked!

But when we had to separate, the room got all silent and depressing. It almost felt like we were never gonna see each other again.

While I was saying good-bye to my dearest friend, all that was going through my head was the quote by Dr. Seuss.

Goonies

I love the Goonies. It is such a fun movie to watch with the family! If you haven't seen the goonies then go to your public library and rent this movie.

I just saw super 8 and it is exactly like the Goonies, but in modern day! It was a great movie and I totally recommend it for all ages,

The Help

I heard so many fabulous reviews about this movie and I didn't want to see it in the movie theaters, so I just waited until it came out on red box! When it came out on red-box I checked at least 3-4 times (before I finally got it) and every time it was sold out! Then finally I got it. PTLA. I watched it last night and there is only one word for the whole movie, life-changing.

This movie takes place between the 50's- 60's during the movement of civil rights. It's about a girl, Skeeter (Emma Stone) who wants to become a journalist/author, and then she decides to write a book on the African-American maids point of view on the families that they take care of. It was powerful, wonderful, and a perfectly balanced movie for the whole family!

*BUT, I have to worn you that there is language, either way it is a cute movie.

I loved it and I hope you liked it too!

America really made a bad choice, by taking Rachel crow and Astro out. But they are still keeping Josh in which is truly amazing! I want Josh to take it all!!!!

This was my favorite song done by him! He was, he is awesome and I think he has so much talent!

One of my favorite things that I like about him is that he signs something at the end of his performances! Every time! I don't know what, but he always signs something, I love that!

Geometry

Tonight's post is gonna..you probably guessed already... is GEOMETRY.

This year I am in geometry( you probably guessed that by now) and...well.....idk..If I like it, or dislike it but I will tell you my dislikes and likes!

SO why don't we just get rid of it and start with the dislikes? You like that idea? I like it so I am gonna do it!

1. I don't like it because I have to do every problem every lesson! Usually I only did like 10-15 each lesson, now I have to do 23-24. Well i guess that is what you have to do in life!

2. I really, REALLY, REALLY don't like math this year because I can't do it with my friends!

That is a major adjustment because i did math/school with my friends ever since I started school and it is a very big change! It is hard not going to a co-op every week, I miss my friends!

NOW...the good part..all my likes!!

1. I really like math, and I would tell anyone who asked me,"what is your favorite thing about math?", because It makes me think more then I have ever thought before! It is a struggle but in the first lesson the textbook said Geometry equals LOGICAL THINKING!!

And let me tell you it is totally logical thinking!

2. I like math because it will show me and my sister how to make an agenda and will organise us. This might be very weird that i typed this but the number one fact that you should know about me and my sister is that we are not very organized kids! SO the fact that Galilee and I are making an agenda for math, is HUGE!

3. I had a tutor for math in AZ and I LOVED HER! She was the best math tutor ever! And a lot of the times I would rely on her, and I am not saying she is a bad math tutor, I am just saying that I just would rely on her to tell me the answer! BUT this year, especially in Geometry, i have to rely on my logic to get the right answer! It's a challenge, that I LOVE!

Thankfulness

Thanksgiving isn't all about the food...OK maybe a little it is, LOL.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for many reasons. The food (notice how I say food first), family, warm house, fireplace, and GOD!

My friend Emma, wrote THIS on her blog and it is so funny because I was gonna write the same thing.

Thanksgiving is not the only day where you make the little tree and put the leaves on it and tell what your thankful for. You can say, actually you SHOULD say what you are thankful every second of every day!

I always go thru life saying I WANT this or even worse I NEED this! I never ever say I DON'T need this! I guess I am saying I am not always thankful! Which isn't good. I NEED to be thankful everyday! Because I literally live like a princess to so many people! I have an iPod touch, computer, kindle, A HUGE closet of clothes, 20 pairs of shoes, a bed, food, school, and so much more! To wrap it all up....I am a spoiled brat and I need to start being thankful!

I have two WONDERFUL amazing sisters, and I have a very tight bond with both of them. And today was my older sisters SWEET 16!!!

Galilee is a girl who is not only my sister, she is my best friend. She is the girl who I want to talk to after a stressful day. She is the girl i come to when I need help w/ my outfits. She is also the girl who I come to when I need help with my school. I would just say that Galilee is my best-freind and no one can change that.

Galilee is funny, pretty, loving, caring, and so much more. If you meet Galilee you would want to be her best-friend. Galilee is one AWESOME person!! I LOVE YOU GALILEE!

Not only is it Gailee's birthday but it's my dads too!! Galilee and my Dad have the same birthday!!!

Family is Everything

God has been showing me that family is something that you don't want to take advantage of. And I have been like wanting to hang out with my family as much as possible because God can take either one of my family members away in a instant.

Even the close friends that I call family our people that I don't want to lose, ever.

No matter where I am from my grandparents, 2 or 2000 miles away, I will always miss them like crazy, unless they are in my presents!

My sisters in Christ are always family.

So family is everything and all i have to say is do not take advantage of your family because they can go in an instant!!

Good things in Gods plan

There are many good things and many bad things about moving and tonights post is gonna be about all the enjoyments of moving.

We get to go to Awana and meet interesting people.

I get to go to fashion shows.

And my relationship with many of my close friends are so much closer than they would be if I was still in AZ.

And I get to make new friends who are truly amazing people!

And last but not least my main enjoyment of moving to CA is that my family is happy!!!! My mom, dad, and brothers, are SO happy to be here....It's like CA was calling our name. NO, actually God was calling us here!

Pride and Prejudice

I just finished reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin that would explain why I haven't blogged in a while! I think it was a decent book but it wasn't as good as Jane Eyre! I had a lot of dislikes, but on the other hand I had a lot of likes about this book!
When I finished reading the book I watched the 1995 version of the movie and I loved it a lot..it helped me immensely to understand the book because I am a very visual person, so when I watched it made me understand the book much better!

This movie has two parts to it and the two parts are 150 minutes long each and I think it was a great movie and I think they chose great casting! My favorite characters were Elizabeth, Mr. Darcy, Mr. Collins, Mrs, Bennet, and Mr. Bennet. Jane and Mr. Bingley I didn't care for because you can already tell that they were gonna get married from the beginning of the story, but Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth I had a lot of doubts of them getting married! And when they were engaged I was FREAKING OUT! I was so happy!
I think my top two favourite characters were Mr. Collins and Mrs. Bennet because Mr. Collins was SO funny in his behavior and OH MY GOODNESS, Mrs. Bennet was such a DRAMA QUEEN, it was so funny.
One of the reasons why I really did enjoy this book was because of the bond that Elizabeth and her dad had! The way he would trust Elizabeth more than his own wife was just amazing and I really loved that and it made me want to have a closer relationship with my dad! And also how they just need a look and they would know what each other was thinking was just astounding!

Veggie Burgers!!

I am a type of girl who likes to try new foods and a couple weeks ago I tried my first veggie burger.....And let me tell you they are seriously amazing!
And how I make is-

1. Grill the veggie burger

2. Then once the veggie burger is done I grill the buns just until there golden brown.

3. Once the veggie burger is grilled and the buns are toasted evenly, I spread BBQ sauce on one of the buns and on the other bun I spread mayo! It sounds kinda gross but its really good! Then put the burger atop of one of the buns

4. Then get some lettuce out and put it atop of the burger!! You can use what ever lettuce you like...I use just plain old lettuce!

5. DONE!!!!

It's a very easy easy recipe and hopefully soon I am gonna make my own veggie burgers!!!

My mom is a fabulous writer but on the other hand she has a FANTASTIC eye for photography and today's post is gonna be about her beautiful eye for pictures!

My mom can always can choose what outfit for what picture! And some of the outfits look ugly in real life but they look SO different on camera! Like the picture above...I personally would not wear this dress with that hat but how she edited and took the shot is just AMAZING !!!

My mom can always snap a shot that really shows the affection w/ one another! Like I was there with her when she did this and it looked very strange but when I saw the photo after it was all edited I was really amazed how, again, she captured the true love between two sisters!

And an old picture that she finds in our picture box...she will turn it into something, MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!

An also my mom turn simple, but meaningful street art into a GREAT wall art piece!!

SURPRISED!

SO, as you all can tell I took a LONG bloggy break, but I wasn't supposed to until my dear friend Emma surprised me and my sisters last weekend! And then once they showed up on my front door step my mom's friend Cate surprised my mom! So it was a weekend FULL OF SURPRISES!!!!

We went to the beach together and Maple and we had SO MUCH FUN! I think Emma, Galilee, and I could agree that, first, this visit grew our friendship, a lot, and second we ALL picked up our friendship where we left it!
I feel so content that I saw one of my great friends, and knowing that she misses me very much just makes my heart feel very content!

So as you all know I moved from AZ to CA and it wasn't easy. The first week when I got to my new house I really diidn't think of anything of it because that week went by so fast, we were packing, getting things in order, cleaning the house etc.
But as time went by I really started to miss my friends, and family. It just hit me like a wall.
BUT, at the same time I relized I needed to be here with my family! WHY? Because God called us here and he called us here because California is where us Gregg family is supposed to be. SO, I finally let go of the control of us living here and just let God control me and he has led me to so many great things. Such as friends coming to town, me meeting Heidi Klum, family coming to town, and so much more!

Thank you God for EVERYTHING that you have done in the past couple months!

I hate....Hate......Hate....milk. I am serious. The taste is not good..it's HORRIBLE. (No offense to people who like milk.)
I don't want to go to college......I just want to go to Parson's. (fashion school)

My favorite book, as you all know is Jane Eyre. I am obsessed with this book.

I saw the 1996 version of Jane Eyre, I wasn't so happy about that, then I saw the new one, with Mia Wasikowska and it was AMAZING! I loved how they filmed it!

I thought it was going to be dark, scary, and depressing, but it was emotional, powerful, and it was just simply perfect! I loved it!

My Favorite scene was when Mr. Rochester proposed to Jane, that is when I got goosebumps!

This is a must see movie!!

Harvest Crusade!

I had a a really eventful weekend!! I went to a bday party and then went to the harvest Crusade at the Dodger Statdium, which you can tell that it was PACKED from the video!

But not only was the music and the preaching good but but our seats were awesome because we sneaked into one of the empty club suites! So we got an AWESOME seats!!!!

I am sorry my video is really weird, so to play and pause the video you have to push the space button!

The Power of Nana

Today we decided to go see my Nana and Papa's old house that they built, when they were younger!Let me just tell you this house was just AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

So, my Nana and Papa went up to the guard (Because they lived in a gated community) and said,"We used to live up here and we were wondering if we could drive up to see the house? Our grandchildren would love to see it," and the guard said,"No I can't let you in." So we drove away everyone was sad. Then my Nana decided to stop the car and pull someone over, who was going into the gate and wanted to ask someone to pretend that they knew us!!!! So Nana pulled one car over they said no and then she pulled over another car and they said no and then we were all saying it's not gonna work let's just go home! But Nana didn't stop! She pulled over one more car and the car said yes! We pulled up to the gate and we went right through!!!!

The house was AMAZING! It was so BEAUTIFUL! The views, the rooms, the pool, everything was just SO PRETTY! I loved seeing this house!!!!

Friends for a weekend!

This is exactly what I did this week!!!

This past couple days our friends from AZ came, The Shoenbach's! And we just spent every minute of the everyday with each other. Either playing games, playing outside, going shopping, going to the beach, we just never stopped! SO, that is why I haven't blogged in a while!

The first day they were here we woke up early and went to the beach!!!!

And then on the second day we all went to the down town fashion district and went shopping!!!!!

And when I have a little free time I facetimed with my friend Gabby!!! And the reason why she has a book in front of the camera is because she wants me to get that book! I am gonna try to teach my self sign language!

This is a picture of me and my papa always makes me smile because. I don't get to see him as much as I used to. Becasue we moved and before we moved he lived, no joke, 5 minutes up the road. Well last week my moms best friends dad died. And it's have been a really long week of drama, sadness, and laughter!
Elliot I didn't know him as much as other people did know him but we all knew him as selfless man! He was such a great man and and he lived such a great life! We love you Elliot!!!

Elliot died on the morning of July 23, 2011 at age 80! Love you Elliot.

One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is my maxi skirts. I really like them because they pretty much go with ANYTHING! Such as a short denim jacket, or a loose tank top w/ a big belt.
Anyone can wear a maxi skirt, short and tall. And one of the awesome things about maxi skirts is that they are so comfortable, I would wear one everyday because they are so comfortable, but then I would look weird, so I choose not to wear one everyday!

Well tonight I am going to write about random stuff!

So, first and formost I am OBSESSED with antique locker wall units!! I am probably going to have AT LEAST 3 in my home..Why because they are good storage for little things and the style of them are AWESOME! I L.O.V.E them!

And I see that everyone is wearing feathers...feather headbands, feather earrings, feather clips, feather EVERYTHING! And my favorite feather accessory is peacock feather earrings!!!

Out of all the game apps in the app store, I declare Doodle Jump is the BEST game ever, it is so addicting.
As I was driving to California this and another game is all played, it is so much fun!!! It's $0.99 and so worth it!

As people say pictures are worth a thousand words, these pictures are worth more than a thousand words to me. As I lived my last day of co-op with new and old classmates, I decided to document this day with my ipod camera, so please excuse me for my BLURRY photos.

This boy was a classmate ever since I started co-op. And on the last day of co-op he decided to wear dorky glasses. LOL!

And then I stole his glasses and my dear friend took my glasses and we decided to take a lovely photo.

And this girlfriend of mine well we were going to take a nice photo and then her mom tickled her right when I pushed the button to take the photo. And this is how it turned out! Don't you love her face?

Well, my dear friend Emma Claire said one night (I was sleeping over) always and never. Which makes me want to write a little post on it. Those two words seem kinda harsh for some reason. And if you say it in the same sentence it especially sounds harsh. For example-

I will never eat ice cream.

Well first of all who doesn't eat ice cream? And see it just sounds like your being over dramatic and kinda harsh. You should replace it with-

I eat ice cream rarely.

That is MUCH better. And for the other harsh word, always, I will also give you a example!

I always brush my teeth.

I think every once in a while everyone doesn't brush their teeth. So, again your over exaggerating. You should say-

I brush my teeth most of the time.

That sounds SOOO MUCH BETTER!! And by the way the examples I gave you are soo bad, but it is all I could think of.

A Life As Thompson!!!!!'

Well, my mom and dad had to go out this week and they went with one of my older brothers and my youngest sister and me my older sister needed a place to stay so we asked our dear friends to "babysit" us!!!!
Well we might stay until like Friday, so this week I am gonna live as a THOMPSON'S!! I will eat, drink, dress, sleep like a Thompson! It's gonna be a fun week with the Thompson's.

Life as a graduate!!

Well when I say graduate I don't really mean that I am graduating Highschool. I am just graduating
Jr. High, which you might think that I am CRAZY for being SOO EXCITED to graduate Jr. High, I dont care what you think. I had 5 subjects this year and I either got a B or an A for my final grade and if you know me REALLY well you know that for me to get a A for a final grade (or a B), it's FANTASTIC. And if you don't me let me just tell you I am not the "best" student.

I had science this year for one of my subjects and I thought I was going to fail because I didn't start out so good. Then I progressed in the middle of 1st semester. I really didn't have enough confedence in this class. So I tryed my hardest becasue I REALLY DISLIKE SCIENCE...but I didn't want to re-take science during through the summer. So I stepped up my game and the final report card was...........................................................................................................................................................

...................................................... I GOT A 92%!!!!!!!!!!!! Me getting a A in science was the HIGHLIGHT of the day!!!

I love wearing these type of outfits because they are so comfy, but while being in a cute outfit! And another great thing about outfits like this is that you can dress it up or dress it down.

By adding a pair of high heel, (not to high) a necklace, and little dangle earrings you are ready to go to any fancy event, With some bracelets, a over shoulder bag, sandals, and stud earrings you are ready to hang out with friends. go see a movie, ANYTHING!
